The magnificent fireworks display will begin at 10:30pm with the raffle following directly after. This year's raffle will feature some of the most extraordinary prizes yet, including fine jewelry and time pieces from Rolex, Roberto Coin, Mikimoto, David Yurman, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Marco Bicego, and Ivanka Trump... with a total value of over $30,000.
In addition to the fabulous raffle prizes, a treasure hunt will take place at the event with the winner receiving a ladies Ivanka Trump Collection signature diamond oval pendant. Guests may register to participate and receive the first clue at ahee.com/capuchin prior to the event.
The Capuchin Soup Kitchen was founded during the Great Depression by Father Solanus Casey to provide food for the hungry. Today, the kitchen serves meals to thousands of people daily. Each month, the Capuchins deliver 300,000 pounds of food, 30,000 articles of clothing, and 500 pieces of furniture to the less fortunate. The Capuchin Souper Summer Celebration was established by Edmund Ahee, his wife Bette Jean, and their seven children in 1981.
The "Treasure Island" event is free to attend. You must be 21 years of age or older and dressy springtime attire is suggested. There is complimentary self parking and valet is also available. Raffle tickets can be purchased prior to the event at Ahee Jewelers, The Capuchin Soup Kitchen, online at ahee.com/capuchin or during the event at Comerica Park. As always, raffle tickets are $1 each and you need not be present to win. 100% of the proceeds go directly to benefit the Soup Kitchen.

The “The Two Faces Of Murder “- a chilling tale of Archer E. Hunter, noted Detroit Judge and avid sports enthusiast. He was found dead by one of his servants the morning after he told the papers he was soon going to expose some major sports stars as being frauds!
Everyone feared they would be the target of his announcement. Who killed the Judge? Meet us at the Jewish Community Center at 15110 West Ten Mile in Oak Park and help us solve this crime on February 6, 2010.
We are proud to have provided some of the entertainment for The Fox Theater, 1940’s USO-Style Premier of: Detroit our Greatest Generation on December 13, 2009.
